Pomegranate Molasses and Fennel Seared Lamb with Mistress Lucy Sweetkill

Mistress Lucy Sweetkill is a woman you don’t want to disappoint. When I asked her if she cooked, she responded that she could cook, but she would rather be fed. Of course, I wanted to make something savory and satiating—and dripping with blood.

I came up with this pomegranate and molasses seared lamb shank served with a fresh fennel, arugula, and orange salad.

Lucy Sweetkill is a co-conspirator of La Maison du Rouge (LMDR), my favorite discreet and elegant play space in New York City, New York. La Maison du Rouge also aims to elevate the discourse around BDSM, sexuality, and spirituality through online education and in-person community events. You can still browse the archive of their Periscope broadcasts. (Check out Miss Sweetkill interviewing me a few years ago here.) Over the course of the past few years, I have gotten to know Lucy pretty well through her generous hosting of monthly femdom gatherings with Domina Dynasty.

When I first met Lucy and toured her space, I was struck as hard by her waist-length raven black hair as I was by her attention to detail and organization. The clothespins in her space are perfectly lined up inside of a drawer. I would almost rather stare at their symmetry than use them on someone… almost. And don’t even get me started on her spreadsheets.

If there is something that I have learned about Lucy, it is that on top of being an organization fetishist and renowned sadist, she likes things done her way and she likes to make the most out of life. Lucy is the queen of the tasting menu and enjoys traveling to luxurious destinations for exquisite meals. Along with the delicious marks she has made on [submissives], her Instagram story is often sprinkled with the delicious tales of the tasting menus that those same [submissives] treat her to.

Lucy came over, slipped into her latex and applied her makeup while we talked about what brought us to the world of kink—and where we are going from here. I cooked this delicious dish for Lucy while she so generously posed in my kitchen and ate my creation… she even did some dishes.
